Installing PageTools
CAUTION -
PageMaker 6.5 must be installed on the PC prior to installing 
PageTools. PageTools version 2.0 requires PageMaker 6.0 (or later) 
and Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0.

Software Technical Notes:

PageBars will no long show unreadable text in Tool Tips if Arial
font is not found.

PageTools will function properly if PageMaker 6.5 is launched with 
a document.

PageColor will not find colors on documents with multiple layers.

Norton File Access is not compatible with PagePreview. 
PagePreview will not display in the open dialog if you are using 
Norton File Access.  Norton File Access modifies the Open dialog 
box preventing PagePreview from displaying a preview in the Open 
dialog box.

PagePrinter only prints to the Windows default printer. 
PagePrinter will always print to the Windows default printer--even 
if PageMaker is configured to output to a non-default printer.

PagePrinter will report changes on any type of edit.  
This includes items that have been marked as "non-printing."

PageScaler does not recognize in-line graphics and will not scale
them.  
If you want to scale graphics, make sure your graphic is placed in 
your publication as an object.

In order to successfully place custom icons in PageBar buttons, 
you need to have your source document set to 16 colors.

PageBars does not support Control+Alt keyboard shortcuts.  
Extensis is working with Adobe on rectifying this situation in a 
future release of PageTools.

Using the UnInstall utility under Windows 95 or NT:

Add/Remove Programs option from the Control Panel.

The following files are not removed when using the Uninstall Utility:

Registry entries
